Proven Fire Protection Performance
University of Pennsylvania Medicine

Scope of Work: Wet sprinkler, standpipe, and special hazard MRI pre-action type systems.
System Details: Independence Fire Sprinkler Co. was proud to deliver state-of-the-art fire protection solutions for Penn Medicine Valley Forge, a three-story, 90,000 square foot LEED Silver certified medical office building in Berwyn, Pennsylvania.
This design-build project featured Building Information Modeling (BIM)-aided engineering of wet sprinkler systems, standpipes, and specialized MRI pre-action systems covering the building and its adjacent parking garage. Today, Independence Fire Sprinkler continues to provide ongoing inspection, testing, and maintenance, ensuring all systems operate flawlessly and the facility remains safe, compliant, and protected for patients and staff.
Brooklyn Basin Parcel C
Location: 288 9th Ave, Oakland, CA 94606
Scope of Work: Fire pump, Class I standpipes and approximately 3,368 sprinklers
System Details: RCM Fire Protection was proud to deliver complete fire protection for Parcel C of Brooklyn Basin, Oakland’s newest waterfront multi-family community. This eight-story, 359,651 sq. ft. apartment building is outfitted with advanced life safety infrastructure including a fire pump, Class I standpipes, and approximately 3,368 sprinklers—each system carefully designed and installed to meet strict code and the needs of high-density residential living.
RCM Fire’s expertise helped ensure the safety and compliance of this iconic project, supporting Parcel C’s mix of residential and commercial space while protecting residents and property within one of Oakland’s most ambitious developments.
Yerba Buena Island Condos
Location: 201 Macalla Rd, San Fransisco, CA 94130
Scope of Work: Fire Pump, Class I Standpipes and 2,356 sprinklers By RCM Fire Protection
System Details: RCM Fire completed a significant fire protection project at Yerba Buena Island Condos in San Francisco, CA—a modern multi-family development known for its sweeping views of the bay and high-end construction standards.
As a full-service fire protection contractor, RCM designed, installed, and commissioned advanced fire suppression systems across all seven levels of the building, ensuring complete safety and compliance for residents. The firm’s expertise was critical in meeting the complex demands of this prestigious site, demonstrating RCM’s commitment to safeguarding lives and property in marquee San Francisco developments.
Boeing Pennsylvania
Location: 1 S Stewart Ave, Ridley Park, PA 19078
Scope of Work: Multi-Phase Foam Replacement Project By Independence Fire Sprinkler Co
Material: Tanks, proportioners, control valves, and over 8,800 gallons of new foam solution
System Details: The existing systems to be replaced inside the hangars are closed-head wet foam-water spray fire protection systems located at the roof level. Each system contains approximately 1,600 gallons of PFAS (Perfluorinated and Polyfluorinated Alkyl Substances) foam solution, with another 1,600 gallons held in reserve.
PFAS, found in firefighting foams (AFFF) and often referred to as “forever chemicals,” have been linked to various health risks. Studies suggest potential connections between PFAS exposure and increased risks of kidney cancer, testicular cancer, and other serious illnesses.
In April 2024, Independence Fire was awarded a contract by Boeing to replace all the foam solution in these hangars. The original contract went through a change order to meet FM Global insurance requirements for higher sprinkler densities. To complete the project, Independence partnered with Solberg Fire Foam Company to help design and implement a phased replacement of the existing foam with a new, environmentally responsible concentrate free of known harmful chemicals.
Nashville Yards Residential Towers

Scope of Work: Fire Sprinkler Installation by Jarrett Fire
Number of Sprinklers Installed: 14,081
System Details: Jarrett Fire designed and installed fire protection for two residential towers—one with 34 floors, the other with 35 floors—both atop six levels of underground parking (garage completed by others). Each tower features two fire pumps, including a redundant backup, along with standpipe systems for comprehensive fire safety. Additionally, the project includes three floors of amenity space, with the remaining levels dedicated to high-end condominiums.
Located in the heart of downtown Nashville, Nashville Yards is a large-scale mixed-use development featuring office space, retail, dining, entertainment, and luxury residential living. The residential towers are a key component of this urban expansion, offering upscale condominiums with state-of-the-art amenities and panoramic views of the city. Designed to integrate seamlessly with the surrounding development, these towers contribute to the city’s growing skyline while providing modern living spaces with premium safety features
Royal Canin Dog Food Processing Facility
Location: 920 Arctic Dr., Lebanon, TN 37090
Scope of Work: Multi-Phase Fire Protection Installation by Jarrett Fire
Number of Sprinklers Installed: ~2,400
System Details: This multi-phased industrial project was completed by Jarrett Fire and involved fire protection installation for two processing towers, a diesel fire pump, and a warehouse retrofit utilizing ESFR (Early Suppression, Fast Response) sprinklers for high-piled storage. Jarrett Fire also installed stainless steel dry systems and pre-action systems for IT server rooms. This FM Global-compliant project required specialized fire protection solutions to meet the safety needs of a high-risk processing environment.
The Royal Canin processing facility is a state-of-the-art pet food production plant that plays a critical role in manufacturing and distributing high-quality pet nutrition products. With advanced processing towers and extensive warehouse storage, the facility is designed for efficiency, meeting strict industry standards for quality and safety. Given the high fire risks associated with food processing and storage, the fire protection systems installed by Jarrett Fire ensure comprehensive coverage to protect both the facility and its operations.
BNA Hilton Hotel

Scope of Work: Fire Sprinkler System Design & Installation by Jarrett Fire

System Details: Jarrett Fire provided fire protection for this new high-rise Hilton hotel located at Nashville International Airport (BNA). The system includes standpipes, dry and wet sprinkler systems, and fire protection tailored for both commercial and residential spaces. The 14-story structure consists of four levels of underground parking and 10 floors of guest rooms and amenity spaces, ensuring comprehensive fire safety for both visitors and staff.
Strategically positioned at Nashville International Airport, the Hilton BNA is a premier hotel designed for both business and leisure travelers. Featuring luxury accommodations, dining, conference facilities, and direct access to airport terminals, the hotel enhances the convenience and hospitality experience for guests. With a mix of commercial and residential spaces, including high-end amenities, the fire protection solutions installed by Jarrett Fire provide essential safety measures to protect occupants and ensure compliance with industry standards.
The Station at Riverfront

Arapahoe Fire Protection was responsible for replacing fittings and sprinkler heads throughout the facility due to significant leaks caused by the introduction of glycerin (by others) into the existing wet system. This project required precise planning and execution to restore system integrity while minimizing disruption to the facility.

Featuring modern apartments with high-end finishes and premium amenities, the building offers residents a blend of urban convenience and scenic views of the South Platte River. The property includes communal spaces such as fitness centers, resident lounges, and rooftop terraces, making fire protection a critical element in ensuring safety for both residents and guests.
Wellington Webb Municipal Building

Scope of Work: Design, submittal, and relocation of sprinklers by Arapahoe Fire Protection

Arapahoe Fire Protection completed a large tenant improvement project over 24 months, involving the relocation of sprinklers within the City and County of Denver offices, including the plan review department. The project required strategic phasing to accommodate ongoing government operations while ensuring fire protection systems remained compliant and functional.
The Wellington Webb Municipal Building is a central government hub in Denver, Colorado, housing multiple departments, administrative offices, and public service spaces. Spanning over 700,000 square feet, this facility plays a vital role in city operations, with thousands of employees and visitors passing through daily. Arapahoe Community College

Scope of Work: Replacement of existing fire alarm devices by Arapahoe Fire Protection

System Details: Replaced 376 smoke detectors, 19 heat detectors, and 30 duct detectors
